This is the opportunity for you if you want a career that:- Aligns with your interest in medical billing while prioritizing patient care and service- Offers a stable, Monday-to-Friday schedule- Provides unmatched training to ensure you feel confident in your role- Enables you to make a real impact on patients' lives every dayWhat We Offer:- Competitive pay structure- Healthcare stipend- Company-paid dental, vision, and life insurance- 401k savings plan with company match- Generous time off policies- Paid holidays- Bonus opportunitiesKey Responsibilities:- Process payments and post claims in multiple formats (ERA, paper checks, credit cards, etc.)- Understand and utilize reports (Insurance Paid Patient, Duplicate, and Modifier Reports) to minimize claim errors- Handle all incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting and distributing it to other departments- Ensure accurate verification of patient eligibility using insurance resources in collaboration with our Patient Care Coordinators- Review and interpret Remittance Advices (RA), including allowable amounts, patient responsibility, denial codes, and remark codes to resolve denials, research outstanding balances, and escalate issues to supervisors- Maintain accurate billing records, with clear, concise notes on patient accounts- Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries about account status and balances- Foster a positive team environment through effective communication with colleagues and supervisors- Take ownership of new and special requests, always looking for ways to add value to your role- Follow company policies and procedures related to employment, safety, and complianceIs This the Right Role for You?- Interested in healthcare but want to build a career behind the scenes?
