We are looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Executive Director of Operations (EDO) to lead our team of high-performing professionals. The EDO will play a critical role in advancing our mission, driving operational excellence, and

ensuring that our properties and projects continue to meet the highest standards of efficiency, productivity, and creativity.

Our ideal candidate has a strong track record within the commercial real estate industry and has steadily risen through roles of increasing responsibility to reach an executive level. This experience should have equipped them with a deep understanding of the industry's practices, policies, and operational challenges. As a visionary leader, the EDO will bring a creative approach to business, fostering a productive team environment that aligns with our growth objectives.

Objectives of this Role

? Collaborate with our executive team to set and drive the organizational vision and develop a cohesive operational strategy.

? Translate strategy into actionable goals for performance and growth, including organization-wide goal-setting, performance management, and annual operating plans.

? Oversee company operations and drive employee productivity, nurturing a culture where team members thrive and organizational goals are achieved.

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:

? Analyze internal operations, identify opportunities for process improvements, and drive operational efficiencies.

? Develop actionable business strategies and plans that align with short- and long-term objectives, in collaboration with the executive team.

? Directly oversee the property management, construction, HR, and accounting teams, and collaborate with executives on new developments and project planning.

? Lead construction project conception, development, and planning, ensuring adherence to master schedules and timely communication with stakeholders.

? Oversee construction budgets, track expenses, and provide regular project status updates.

? Aggressively manage projects, properties, and expenses to achieve growth and profitability targets.

? Track performance, implement corrective measures as needed, and prepare detailed reports for current and future forecasts.

? Cultivate and maintain trusted relationships with tenants, vendors, subcontractors, and partners.

? Research market trends and changes that impact managed assets, ensuring Blue Star remains competitive and informed.

? Use Yardi and other software tools to generate data insights, produce impact analyses, and present quarterly reports to ownership.

? Lead and motivate teams with strong supervisory skills, effective communication, and a commitment to professional growth.

Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in business administration or a related field is preferred
• Real estate background preferred
• At least 5 years' experience in a senior leadership role
• Strong leadership and integrity
• Solid knowledge of business planning and industry regulations
• Comfortable with data analysis and performance tracking
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to spot potential challenges early
