Volt is immediately hiring for Stamping Setup Tech.
As a Stamping Setup Tech, you will:
Install and set stamping dies in presses and qualify through FAI.
Setups may include auxiliary equipment such as clean lines, oil systems, payoffs, smart packs, and take-ups.
Pull stamping dies from the press when in need of maintenance or repair.
Reset tools in the stamping press after maintenance or repair work has been completed.
Use troubleshooting skills and work with other setup technicians, operators and/or tool maintenance personnel to address unacceptable reject levels, resolve process or tooling problems, and develop a more robust and repeatable stamping setup process.
Respond to machine alarms in a timely manner.
Assist in the creation, modification or standardization of existing work procedures to include setup sheets.
This is a Full Time Contact opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
High School Diploma or GED.
2 to 4 years of Stamping experience, preferably in support of the Automotive or Electronics Industry.
Location: Rumford, RI
Pay Rate: $24.00-25.00/hr.
