Mosaic Biosciences, a subsidiary of Mosaic, is seeking a highly motivated individual to join as a Regional Sales Agronomist. This role is responsible for working with the Regional Sales Manager, customers, key influencers, and third-party research organizations to test, evaluate, and advance the technical positioning and sales support around the Mosaic Biosciences portfolio within the assigned geography in eastern United States (focused primarily in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, and Wisconsin). This position will play an important role in demand generation by leading and providing technical leadership, agronomic training and new product education to commercial team members and customers in a manner that will solidify our team as the most knowledgeable and trusted advisors in the biological sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Product and agronomic expert:
Prepare and execute a regional field trial program for current products and product candidates that quantify dose response, frequency of application and timing for product candidates in a manner that validates product efficacy for use in future sales and marketing efforts.
Coordinate, track, and report on field trial programs to ensure objectives, schedules, and targets are met, including budget. Coordinate analysis and interpretation of data and offer guidance to Plant Response teams plus customers.
Coordinate field demonstrations trials with key commercial accounts and prospects, establishing agronomy to agronomy relationships with these customers and document trial process/data collection in all necessary platforms.

Coach and trainer:
Leads and provides technical leadership, agronomic training and new product education to commercial team members and customers in a manner that will solidify our team as the most knowledge and trusted advisors in the biological sector.
Coach, educate and train RSMs on the technical aspects of the portfolio and segment.
Develop annual training activities calendar by customer.
Organize and participate in technical and promotional field days, customer related events and Plant Response/Industry conference/forums. Technical sales support.
Support the RSM in developing promotional materials and campaigns by customer.
Lead and support marketing efforts, especially technical sales collaterals, commercial presentations, product positioning and competitive product analysis.
Carefully review, comment, and approve technical, sales, marketing and or advertising communications as assigned.
Required Skills/Experience:
Bachelor's degree required. M.S. (preferred) in agronomy, plant physiology, weed science, soil science or another related field.
5 years of experience in ag business with preferred experience with value added products.
CCA/CPA/PCA preferred
Strong expertise in customer engagement, sales support, communication and agronomic sales support
Familiarity in conducting crop research and evaluations including experimental design, data analysis and interpretation, and information systems familiarity.
Strong agronomic knowledge of modern agricultural production methods and crop inputs, including biological products such as microbes and bio stimulants.
Demonstrate the ability to use common workplace software, including the use of Microsoft Office software (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Be familiar with field trial data management systems.
Exceptional customer relationships and influence skills adept at developing trust.
Ability to coach and develop employees at all levels
Demonstrated effective problem-solving skills, critical thinking and decision making.
Exhibit the ability to be a team player and collaborate well with others. Possess a superior ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
Have a high degree of personal and professional integrity, including being a self-starter, the ability to acknowledge mistakes and take ownership of results.

Ability to travel at least 50% of the time
Mosaic is a pay for performance company. The salary range for this role is $104,000 - $169,000. Total compensation is based on performance and contribution.
