Account Solutions Representative II

This role involves building and maintaining positive relationships with Lonza customers, both internal and external. The main focus is on providing efficient service, including order execution, product technical information, and complaint handling. The position will specifically handle Lonza’s Dosage Form Solutions accounts in the Americas Region.

Essential Functions:


  • Establish and maintain strong customer relationships

  • Aggressively pursue growth opportunities within the territory, gaining market and industry information by the productive use of customer relationships and passing this information on to Lonza colleagues.

  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely delivery of customer orders. Lead orders for all DFS accounts in Americas Region, including providing customers with updates on any changes to the order schedule.

  • Partner with Business Development and Sales team to provide the best possible service to Lonza’s customers, and to meet the performance and growth goals of the business

  • Understand the sales cycle and show negotiation skills; know the market served by Capsugel/Lonza and its products.

  • Must be able to work 40 hours a week, which may include weekends, holidays, etc.

  • Being present at the plant site is a requirement.

  • Perform other duties as needed and manage special projects as assigned.

  • Manage customer credit issues and participate in the analysis and forecasting of DFS

Qualifications:

Required:


  • 2-5 Years in Customer Service or Marketing/Sales environment. Both Preferred

  • Demonstrated dedication to tasks, flexibility to changes or demands, and customer contact through sales or customer service experience

  • Capable of working with little supervision and working effectively with all levels within the organization

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Travel Required (< 10%)

Desired:


  • BS/BBA in Business, Marketing or 5 + years related experience

  • Pharmaceutical or manufacturing background a plus

  • Brazilian Portuguese and/or Spanish, verbal and written, a plus
