The Research Technician will assist in experiments involving yeast genetics, molecular biology, biochemistry, microscopy, and image processing and analysis. The Research Technician will also conduct routine lab maintenance, such as ordering lab supplies, preparing culture media and plates, and keeping clean sterilized glassware.
Required: Bachelor's degree in any STEM area, preferably in biology, chemistry, or computer science. One year of experience in Research Technician work (assisting experiments in molecular biology, biochemistry, or related area); or one year of full-time equivalent research experience in STEM areas during college education.

The pay range for this job profile is $15.70 - $20.67. The offer for this position will fall within this range based on internal equity, unit's available budget, and the candidate's qualifications.
