Onboard Systems International has an immediate full-time opening for an experienced electronic assembler with fine hand soldering (30 gage wire) and troubleshooting skills. The job is in a climate controlled building working with hand soldering tools, tweezers, clamps and a magnifying lens to see the work piece. It is very important that the candidate realize this is fine, detailed work. Someone who has done board level repairs on fine electronic circuitry would likely be a strong candidate.
This position is for day shift, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week.
Job description:
-Assemble electronic products to drawing and documentation requirements
-Troubleshoot non-functioning electronic products needing repair
Experience requirements:
-Minimum 3 year experience doing similar work
Required skills:
-Require proficiency with hand soldering, multimeters, power supplies, oscilloscopes and hand tools
-Require ability to read drawings and documents in English and have an extremely high level of attention to detail and integrity
-Prefer training in J-STD-001 Requirements for Soldered Electrical & Electronic Assemblies
-Reasonable computer skills
Education Requirements:
-Minimum HS diploma
-Tech school training preferred
Salary:
-Salary will be $20-$24/hr. plus overtime depending on experience & background. Benefits package includes medical and dental insurance, 401K, vacation & holiday pay.
