Key Responsibilities
Lead hazardous waste operations, including drum pumping, tank farm, truck offloading/loading, and wastewater treatment.
Supervise and train employees to follow strict safety and compliance standards.
Ensure compliance with all hazardous waste handling protocols, OSHA regulations, and company safety guidelines.
Operate forklifts and maintain accurate hazardous waste tracking records.
Conduct sample analysis and manage waste inventory.
Maintain clean and organized work areas, adhering to proper waste management practices.
Perform routine equipment maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
Provide effective leadership to ensure the team operates safely and efficiently.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent.
2+ years of industry or hazardous waste experience (strongly preferred).
Proven experience in a supervisory role, preferably in hazardous waste management.
Familiarity with hazardous waste protocols, compliance standards, and safety regulations.
Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Experience in plant operations and forklift operation (preferred).
Ability to work in challenging conditions year-round.
