Airswift are working on behalf of an exciting Legal Firm with offices in Denver, Washington, Salt Lake City & Boise. We have partnered with them to find them a transformational Renewable Energy Project Development & Finance Associate.

The individual they bring in, will play a critical role in driving project development for their clients. Ensuring that a high level of competency and experience drives the contractual, legal and transactional elements of project development.
Key Responsibilities & Competencies
Drafting and negotiating principal and ancillary contracts/agreements (EPC, PPA/off-take, equipment sales agreements, asset purchase, hedge contracts).
It is important to that the individual can execute this responsibility with minimal supervision. Illustrating initiative and a high competency level.
Buy-side and sell-side transaction experience in the renewable sector is an asset
Individual is expected to drive equity investments in projects and portfolios and development of projects
Support on merger & acquisitions transactions.
Experience in complex joint venture transactions, venture capital financings, and other minority investment transactions is a significant plus.
Candidate Profile & Professional Experience
Background in renewable energy space (solar, wind, battery storage projects). Open to consider candidates with traditional oil & gas experience willing to transition into renewables.
Attorneys who have experience working on project development contracts (EPC, PPA/off-take, equipment sales agreements, asset purchase, hedge contracts).
Ideal candidates will have 5+ of law firm experience in complex commercial contracts and mergers & acquisitions
Large law firm or energy boutique firm experience is preferred.
