Position and Responsibilities Overview
Role: Oversee the Operations Department's performance, business development, work acquisitions, and execution across all groups and business units.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with operations group and business unit managers on performance and operational issues, providing guidance on complex matters.
Supervise and review major, challenging, or legal issues within the operations department.
Ensure vice president - operations is informed of significant developments and concerns.
Develop, train, implement, and enforce standard policies and procedures for the operations department.
Coordinate with other department managers to ensure adequate staffing and service provision.
Assist in staffing decisions and participate in key hire interviews.
Lead monthly project management meetings to address performance and financial issues and update managers on departmental and corporate developments.
Drive the vision, strategic planning, and long-term business development for the operations department.
Ensure customer satisfaction and maintain relationships with both external and internal customers.
Maintain appropriate staffing and structure within the operations department.
Review employee performance evaluations to ensure proper personnel management.
Oversee employee compensation and bonus administration within the operations department.
Address and resolve concerns from other department managers regarding operations department performance.
Support corporate marketing needs.
Provide leadership, mentoring, coaching, and support for all operations department personnel.
Ensure the financial performance of the operations department.
