Position Overview
As a Superintendent, you'll oversee and manage construction operations for our high-profile water/wastewater projects. You'll work closely with project teams to ensure that safety, schedule, quality, and cost objectives are achieved to the highest standard. This role requires a hands-on leader with deep experience in heavy civil infrastructure and water/wastewater construction who's comfortable navigating diverse locations and unique project challenges.
Responsibilities
Project Leadership: Lead on-site construction activities, ensuring projects meet time, quality, and cost targets.
Coordination: Collaborate with engineers, subcontractors, and project managers for smooth project execution.
Safety Compliance: Champion a culture of safety and enforce all safety protocols on-site.
Quality Control: Oversee all phases of project construction, ensuring adherence to design specs and quality standards.
Problem-Solving: Address and resolve project challenges proactively to avoid delays and cost overruns.
Team Management: Mentor junior staff, guiding their professional development and growth.
Qualifications
Experience: Proven background in heavy civil and water/wastewater construction as a Superintendent or equivalent role.
Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel across the United States and work in various locations as needed.
Education: Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field experience preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills with a commitment to safety and quality.
Certifications: OSHA 30, PMP, or similar certifications are advantageous.
