Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Crane Mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet of cranes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical repair and maintenance, particularly with heavy machinery. This role is crucial for ensuring our equipment operates safely and efficiently to meet our operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance and inspections on cranes and hoists
Diagnose mechanical issues and execute repairs on diesel engines and hydraulic systems
Service and maintain crane booms and outriggers to ensure optimal performance
Collaborate with service technicians to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and repairs performed
Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards during all repair and maintenance work
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Crane Mechanic or similar role
Strong knowledge of crane systems, including hydraulic and diesel engines
Familiarity with hoists, booms, and outriggers
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Relevant certifications in crane mechanics or heavy machinery repair are a plus
