Summary Description: Armstrong Teasdale LLP is seeking an Associate Attorney with International Trade expertise to join its Corporate Services Group (CSG). Associates have an exciting opportunity to learn from and work closely with energetic, high experienced legal practitioners in a friendly, cooperative environment.
Note: This role can be bases in either our Washington DC, Miami, St. Louis, Kansas City, or Denver offices.

Simultaneously handles the high-level and strategic aspects of multiple legal matters at different stages of progression, from inception to conclusion

Required Education: Juris Doctor

Licenses and/or Certifications: Licensed to practice law in good standing in one or more jurisdictions where the Firm conducts business; must maintain applicable license renewal and CLE requirements
Required Experience: 3+ years' relevant experience involving U.S. export controls, United States Customs, economic sanctions and embargoed country transactions, anti-boycott laws and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA).
Preferred Experience: 3-6 years' experience as a licensed attorney at a law firm
Supervisory Responsibilities:Indirect - actively utilizes support staff or junior associates to ensure client satisfaction
Physical Activity: The employee will be required to sit (or utilize a standing desk) for prolonged periods and work on a computer
Travel Required: Less than 10%
