Job Description:

Salary Range: $85k-95k/ year plus Bonus and Benefits
The ideal candidate will have outstanding guest service skills, leadership, organizational abilities, and the drive to lead our excellent team towards continued success.
The role serves as the primary, strategic business leader of the hotel, accountable for all facets of its operation, including the satisfaction of guests and associates, financial outcomes, sales, and revenue generation, aiming to provide a return on investment to the owners. The General Manager spearheads the development and execution of comprehensive property strategies and ensures the brand's service strategy and initiatives are carried out, with the goal of meeting or surpassing guest expectations.
Moreover, the General Manager cultivates relationships with key customers and members through direct involvement in the sales process. This role ensures the hotel's sales channels are optimized and initiates independent and proactive sales efforts, when suitable, to stimulate demand.
Responsibilities Include
  • Establishing goals and expectations.
  • Creating a high-performing executive leadership team by uniting a diverse group of individuals into cohesive and effective units.
  • Recruiting team members who exhibit strong functional expertise, creativity, entrepreneurial leadership, and analytical thinking to fulfill the operational needs.
  • Managing the financial aspects of the budget.
  • Inspiring and motivating the team to achieve operational excellence.
  • Supporting the sales strategy by promoting effective revenue management practices.
  • Analyzing the STR report, competitive shopping reports, and other resources to stay informed of the property's market standing.
  • Reviewing sales objectives and strategies to ensure they align with the hotel's positioning and pricing.
  • Leveraging sales and revenue mechanisms to enhance RevPAR year over year.
  • Ensuring capital expenditure funds are budgeted and utilized effectively within the program.
  • Holding staff accountable for successful performance in a positive manner.
Requirements
  • 5+ years Hotel General Manager experience
  • Hyatt experience preferred
