Position Overview:

The Director of Corporate Strategy will play a critical role in shaping the future of our client's company. This individual will be responsible for driving the formulation, implementation, and management of strategic initiatives that support the company's growth, profitability, and competitive positioning. Reporting directly to the C-suite, this role requires a strategic thinker with deep analytical capabilities, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of success in corporate strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of the company's long-term strategic vision, working closely with executive leadership to identify growth opportunities, market trends, and competitive threats.
  • Analyze market dynamics, emerging technologies, and regulatory environments to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations for mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and other growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with senior leadership teams to ensure alignment of strategic initiatives with operational objectives.
  • Manage the corporate strategic planning process, ensuring that business units have clear strategic goals and KPIs aligned with the company's broader objectives.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of implemented strategies, making adjustments as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Present strategic recommendations to the board of directors and investors, translating complex data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Build and lead a high-performing strategy team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
  • 8-10+ years of experience in corporate strategy, consulting, or investment banking, with a strong focus on strategic planning and analysis within a large organization.
  • Proven success in developing and executing corporate strategy in a publicly traded environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to influence and drive change at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence key stakeholders, including executives, board members, and investors.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling, market analysis, and competitive intelligence.
  • Experience with M&A strategy and execution is a strong plus.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
