The Master Scheduler will be charged with the responsibility of managing, establishing, reviewing, and maintaining a master schedule. Identify and implement system and process improvements within the supply chain to enable overall strategic improvement. Core competencies include strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work effectively at all levels of the organization with emphasis on Inventory & Capacity Plan (SIOP). Drive, promote and develop positive communications throughout entire organization
RESPONSIBILITIES
Improve forecasting tools and procedures through application of innovative ideas and projects
Further develop existing forecast and supply programs to improve current days inventory and cash cycle
Work in conjunction with other area owners/managers/engineers to help create schedules in a fast paces environment with competing customer demands and schedules.
Review and update forecast, production schedules and material requirements
Coordinate and plan materials requirements for new product introductions, including review of new BOM's and cut in dates for build verification and production units
Review material shortages, stock outages and safety stock levels while working with Supply chain, purchasing, and manufacturing to meet customer requirements
Become subject matter expert with our systems and scheduling tools
Proactively review material supply and demand to determine push/pull actions appropriate to impact manufacturing and supply exception messages
Must be able to merge multiple projects to create a master schedule with resources and test equipment allocations
QUALIFICATIONS
2-5 years of Supply Chain/Project Manager/Master Scheduling experience
Experience in defense/manufacturing environment preferred
Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Project
BA/BS degree preferred or equivalent work experience
