Ledgent Technology has once again partnered with a key employer in the Boise or Bellevue market for their open Senior Cloud & Data Center Engineer - Microsoft Technologies role.
We are looking for a talented engineer specializing in Microsoft and Cloud technologies. As a Senior Cloud and Data Center Engineer, you will collaborate with a team of skilled consultants across multiple technical disciplines. Your focus will be on deploying, integrating, and supporting data center solutions, following industry best practices and methodologies to ensure optimal performance of client environments.
Key Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain a strong technical expertise in Microsoft Data Center Software and Cloud technologies. • Lead and participate in complex customer projects, integrating various technologies as part of a team of engineers. • Participate in product training and skill-building sessions. • Collaborate with customers to discuss and recommend new technologies that improve and enhance their environments. • Conduct meetings with customers, OEMs, and internal teams both on-site, remotely, and in-office as needed. • Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications: • 5+ years of experience deploying and managing Microsoft and Cloud technologies, including:
o Microsoft Windows Server & Virtualization Platforms
o Microsoft O365/M365 and supporting technologies
o Microsoft Active Directory and Azure AD • Additional preferred experience with Microsoft solutions such as Endpoint Manager/InTune, SharePoint, PowerBI, Microsoft security solutions, and certificate services (PKI). • SQL Server implementation experience is a plus. • Expertise in Cloud technologies, including:
o Microsoft Azure
o Cloud architecture and migration methodologies
o Cloud data protection solutions
o AWS, GCP, and other cloud platforms (preferred). • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word) and CRM databases.
