The individual in this position will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of data products and solutions for various strategic initiatives, including but not limited to pricing, assortments, promotions, loyalty programs, supply chain, finance, real estate, and sales analytics. They will lead a global team and be a critical driver of the company's data analytics strategy, fostering a data-driven culture throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the architecture, build, and management of the enterprise data supply chain, ensuring data pipelines, models, and algorithms are optimized for integrity, performance, security, and governance.
Evangelize data and analytics capabilities to business leaders and functional heads, driving business value through data-driven decision-making.
Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple business functions to prioritize and deliver data solutions that meet the organization's needs.
Manage and integrate enterprise data and analytics technologies, including data ingestion, brokering, and reporting tools.
Ensure adherence to development standards and best practices to deliver scalable, high-quality data products and solutions.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as computer science, data science, business analytics, or a related discipline.
10+ years of experience in leading global data engineering and business intelligence teams, delivering enterprise data solutions.
Strong knowledge of cloud-based data platforms, data engineering, and analytical technologies.
Experience managing large, globally distributed teams, as well as hiring and mentoring data-focused engineers.
Expertise in data governance, security, and regulatory compliance, particularly in relation to data privacy laws and best practices.
Proficiency in modern data tools and platforms, including cloud services (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud), AI/ML platforms, and advanced analytics tools.
