We are seeking a detail-oriented business analyst with experience in AS/400 systems and knowledge of Microsoft D365 Finance and Operations (D365FO) ERP to join our team. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions, leveraging their knowledge of AS/400 and D365FO to drive effective communication and project execution. You will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze data, and recommend strategies not only to enhance business processes but also to facilitate the transition between both systems.The position reports to the Regional IT Manager
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and document business requirements, particularly related to AS/400 applications and D365FO.
Comfortable in maintaining the AS400 system, being able to do backup and restore operations, administration, security and operations related tasks.
Perform daily tasks on the IBM server clean-up, updates, and daily checks.
Provide Level 1 support for D365FO users in the region and coordinate the support with the Solmax D365FO team.
Analyze current business processes and workflows to help ease the future transition to D365FO functionalities.
Develop detailed functional specifications and user stories for technical teams.
Facilitate meetings and workshops with cross-functional teams.
Create and maintain documentation related to requirements, processes, and user manuals.
Job Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role, with a strong focus on AS/400 systems and D365FO.
Any professional certification in AS/400 or D365FO is highly desirable and will be considered a significant asset.
Previous experience working with multi-site manufacturing companies
Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques (e.g., PowerBI, Excel, SQL).
