About Company / Opportunity:
We are a growing financial services company looking to hire a Financial Reporting Analyst to handle financial and regulatory reporting. We are a large, well-established company with over 75 locations in Florida. This is an onsite, permanent, and hybrid position (2-3 days onsite).
Responsibilities:
Join a team of 5-6 financial analysts to prepare quarterly external filings. Collaborate closely with accounting teams to ensure timely and accurate deliverables. Take charge of end-to-end processes for loans and allowances. Conduct thorough analysis and review of financial statements and disclosures, ensuring adherence to GAAP standards. Manage financial systems, ensuring data quality and accessibility. Collaborate with other departments to evaluate complex issues such as mergers and acquisitions, revenue recognition, and financial reporting matters. Drive efficiency by developing and implementing changes to accounting processes. Maintain and update significant accounting policies to ensure compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations.
Must-Have Skills:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting or Finance
2+ years of experience in public accounting or 4+ years of experience in corporate accounting
SEC filing and regulatory experience
Strong financial reporting experience
Financial services or banking industry experience
Nice to Have Skills:
Active CPA
Experience with Tableau or SAS
