We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team for projects located in Hanover, NH. This role requires a dynamic individual with a strong background in overseeing large-scale construction projects, specifically in academic and institutional settings. The ideal candidate will have a blend of technical skills, leadership abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple projects efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee 6 diverse projects including campus expansion, renovations, and HVAC installations.
Manage projects up to $25 million (or larger), ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
Lead and collaborate with teams of all sizes, including mentoring junior staff.
Effectively communicate with owners' representatives, architects, consultants, and key stakeholders.
Plan, forecast, and manage detailed project schedules using industry-standard software.
Qualifications:
Experience: 8+ years of experience managing construction projects independently.
Project Types: Experience in academic/institutional projects preferred; secondary experience in commercial and interior renovations is highly desirable.
Technical Expertise: Strong background in fast-track/phased construction, Mechanical, Electrical, Fire Protection, Plumbing, and HVAC Controls.
Software Proficiency:
Microsoft Office Suite
Primavera P6 Scheduling
Procore
Autodesk AutoCAD and REVIT (big plus but not required)
Soft Skills:
Strong leadership and team collaboration skills.
Ability to mentor and develop younger team members.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with a diverse range of project stakeholders.
