The Senior Product Manager - Marketing will be responsible for the development and implementation of the brand plan for a Migraine asset, with a high priority being finalizing optimal Positioning, Messaging and Implementation for release at the National Sales Meeting in March 2025. The key areas of emphasis for this role are personal promotion, non-personal promotion, and omnichannel promotion - spanning strategy development and tactical execution. Must have relevant Pharmaceutical/Biotech Marketing experience.
This position will report to the Head of Marketing and work in collaboration with cross-functional team members, including field sales.
The role may be remote (with once per month travel to headquarters) or local, based at our Palo Alto, CA headquarters (hybrid, on-site 3 days per week). Salary may vary depending on whether remote or local.
Role and Responsibilities • Market research • Build and optimize the Strategic Marketing/Brad plan. • Drive execution of the Tactical plan while ensuring consistency with brand strategy • Lead HCP facing marketing efforts for: personal promotion (i.e. field sales facing), non-personal promotion (such as speakers' bureau) and omnichannel (direct marketing). • Lead Patient facing marketing efforts, where warranted. • Partnering with Medical, a key internal stakeholder, on aligning the Medical and Marketing plans. Lead Medical Education activities, eg KOL engagement and advisory boards. • Partnering with Sales and Sales Training - key internal stakeholders to develop POAs with. • Partnering with the Market Access team to align the Access and Marketing plans. Develop the PVP. • Manage partner agency relationships, workflow, and related expense budgets. • Partner with internal analytics team and external partners to define metrics and analyze performance of marketing programs. • Ensure legal/regulatory compliance and medical accuracy of all marketing materials.
Qualifications and Education Requirements • Bachelor's degree. MBA a plus. • Migraine/Neurology experience a plus, but not mandatory. • 5-10 years of relevant Pharmaceutical/Biotech experience in Product Marketing is required. Sales/Market Research experience can be a complement, but not a substitute for this. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. • Demonstrated track record of success in a cross-functional and collaborative environment.
