We are currently seeking a Director, Brand Marketing to be responsible for strategy creation and implementation that builds consumer demand, resulting in increased market share.
The Director, Brand Marketing will lead the brand team, safeguarding efficient cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring the brand remains relevant to consumers. They will drive profitable growth, and ensure that all activities support the brand equity. This person will take a lead in managing vendor and agency partners and all aspects of their projects.
While this role is very analytical and requires strong attention to detail, it is also highly collaborative within the global marketing team and among key stakeholders across local Sales, Finance, and Operations. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in CPG brand management or specific to juvenile or luxury goods.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Marketing Strategy
Develop consumer and customer-relevant, annual marketing strategy which contributes to sales, profit, and brand health objectives and executes for the assigned brand.
Leverage working knowledge of consumer, category, and brand and continually identify and recommend business-building initiatives that deliver alongside Nuna's business and marketing objectives.
Develop the local annual consumer and customer brand and promotional calendar, fully aligning and strengthening the brand's positioning, and thoroughly understanding the Nuna brand.
Grow and lead the Digital Marketing Department to support the Company's brands as an agency partner, helping the brands achieve their growth initiatives across digital channels, especially E-comm.
Foster the growth of Nuna's digital footprint via analysis and enhancement of relevant digital marketing channels for ROI, acquisitions, and revenue generation on D2C and retail websites.
Research and Analytics
Perform routine analysis of the brand, key initiative, competition, category, customer, and consumer. Synthesize key findings and indications which enhance brand and company performance and share them with the local and global teams.
Maintain a thorough understanding of internal brand metrics, such as sales and profit, and contribute to sales projections and financial planning.
Brand Activities
Media Planning:
Develop and execute local annual consumer and customer marketing communication plans (promotional, digital, print, social) and measure ROI. Communicate regularly with local managers and global marketing managers to ensure that marketing programs are properly implemented.
Develop and facilitate the implementation and execution of digital marketing strategies that utilize all appropriate channels (including/especially the web, SEM, email, social media, PPC, and influencer partnerships.
Measure and report on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against brand goals (ROI and KPIs).
Public Relations:
Be the touch point with the local PR agency to lead efforts for Nuna locally gaining exposure with both trade and consumer awareness via the press, celebrity seeding, social media, and award participation.
Social Media:
Handle all uploading of content to Nuna USA's social channels. Manage all social channel consumer inquiries, driving them to consumer services for assistance. Manage all social advertising campaigns, including but not limited to Facebook ads, Instagram ads, etc.
Customer/Retailer:
Manage local retailer-specific in-store projects, collaborating with vendors on new projects. Project examples include but are not limited to annual joint business promotional planning, shop in shops, display windows, banners, retailer-specific brochures, events, and more. Manage online retailer-specific projects such as brand pages, digital banners, social media artwork, and more.
Consumer/Trade Shows:
Select, coordinate, and manage all interactions with the consumer and trade through shows and exhibits.
Budgeting:
Manage, forecast, maintain and submit items for processing for marketing and promotional operating budgets as well as any additionally funded budgets that may be provided.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
Experience & Education
Five (5) to eight (8) years of marketing experience in a Consumer-Packaged Goods company with a focus on brand management; experience in US markets preferred; juvenile or luxury goods preferred.
Bachelor's degree with studies in Business Administration, Marketing, or Communications preferred.
Established track record of:
Creating measurable brand awareness and value creation through digital media channels.
Delivering successful and cost-effective marketing campaigns that lead to on-time and under budget product/service launches and notable increases in inbound traffic, revenue, and ROI.
Experience managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media, and influencer marketing.
Skills & Knowledge & Technology
Excellent planning, project management, and organizational skills to effectively manage numerous brand activities and resources simultaneously, while ensuring deadlines are met.
Strong commercial acumen as well as ability to think creatively.
Exceptional command of identifying consumer and customer needs.
