We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer who is a Licensed P.E. and has experience working on large scale central energy plant projects to join our team today.
Responsibilities
Planning and preparing engineered contract documentation for assigned projects
Working as an Electrical PM to meet deadlines, aiding in/providing engineering decisions, and collaborating with engineers/architects/owners as needed
Overseeing multiple projects which may consist of performing and scheduling work, materials, manpower, and information to ensure attainment of scope/project performance and construction schedules
Creating mechanical and plumbing project construction documents, plans, specifications, design analyses and cost estimates for robust and reliable electrical system designs
Visiting sites as necessary to collect existing condition information, attend meetings, respond to construction inquiries, and report on-site observations
Activities may include shop drawing reviews, responding to RFI's, resolving construction difficulties, and coordinating field installations as required for each project to meet deadlines and quality standards
Assist in developing and maintaining client relationships
Help mentor and develop the skills of junior electrical designers and engineers
Qualifications
Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or related
Licensed PE (Texas preferred)
10+ years of experience
Familiarity with federal sector-related projects, USACE and GSA-type clients
Experience in Trane Trace 700 or related
Ability to manage large-scale, design-build central plant projects
