The Role
As a Senior Staff AI Engineer, you will develop scalable, responsible AI platforms and solutions, driving ethical, privacy-focused, and innovative generative experiences to improve customer outcomes:
Lead the creation, development, and deployment of AI solutions focused on promoting family well-being.
Spearhead AI initiatives across multiple teams, with expertise in generative AI, computer vision, large language models (LLMs), and natural language processing (NLP).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable AI-driven solutions that support various business units.
Develop and implement multimodal AI systems that integrate diverse data types, such as text, images, audio, and video, to create advanced and impactful AI-driven solutions.
Develop privacy-preserving AI systems that align with the division's mission to deliver positive, tangible outcomes for families.
Advocate for emerging AI technologies to foster innovation and drive business growth.
Partner with internal and external teams to create forward-thinking AI products in generative AI, computer vision, and related fields.
Champion innovative AI approaches that advance family health and well-being through our products.
Work alongside cross-functional teams to develop scalable software platforms that empower teams to deploy AI solutions efficiently.
Requirements
Ideally have over 7 years of experience in a leadership role within engineering.
Demonstrated expertise in AI/ML technologies, including generative AI, natural language processing (NLP), and computer vision.
Hands-on experience with multimodal AI systems, integrating data from various sources such as text, images, audio, and video to build comprehensive and effective AI solutions.
Extensive experience in designing and deploying AI models and systems in production environments.
Strong leadership and communication abilities, with a proven track record of influencing executives and fostering alignment.
In-depth knowledge of Responsible AI practices and ethical considerations surrounding AI implementation.
Experience in healthcare or wellness industries is a plus.
This role is based in San Francisco, and candidates will need to relocate from Chicago to fulfill the position requirements.
