Location This position will be based out of our Cranford, NJ location.
This role requires frequent travel to projects across the NE region on US.
Responsibilities
Supervise the crew(s) and craft workers in the application of all projects.
Managing the performance of productivity, safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
Collaborate with engineers, Job teams, etc. to determine project needs.
Utilize equipment, material, and labor to maximize production and minimize costs in assigned responsibility.
Set performance goals and deadlines.
Coordinate and interface effectively with superintendents and Foreman to ensure smooth workflow and schedule adherence.
Resolve employee conflicts, grievances, and scheduling difficulties, informing project and corporate management as appropriate.
Assist in schedule planning, determining craft labor needs, material quantities, equipment requirements, etc.
Keep track of material stock and orders.
Ensure project rules, procedures and programs are followed consistently, including those involving safety, attendance, and workplace behavior standards as reflected in Company's non-harassment and nondiscrimination policies.
Perform additional ad hoc assignments per managements direction.
Qualifications
8+ years' experience in the construction industry, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
Must have experience and professional knowledge of heavy civil infrastructure, marine infrastructure is preferred.
Ideal candidate will have project experience with ports, docks, wharves, piers, bridges or other waterfont structures.
Must be able to run multiple crews across various construction scopes.
Knowledge of various construction disciplines, safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, engineering drawings and other documents.
Demonstrated ability to efficiently supervise and evaluate craft performance.
General computer skills required, Microsoft Office proficiency (Word and Excel).
Organizational and time-management skills.
Experience with cranes is preferred.
Must have ability to manage and inspire others.
High School Diploma/GED required.

Base Compensation: $115,000/yr - $165,000/yr
