The Director of IT is responsible for overseeing and managing the company's technology infrastructure and operations in partnership with internal teams and external Managed Service Providers (MSPs). You will be instrumental in aligning IT strategy with business objectives, ensuring the seamless delivery of IT services, driving technology initiatives, and implementing robust security measures. This role requires a balance of strategic vision and operational excellence to support the firm's growth and maintain efficient, secure systems across all locations.

OBJECTIVES
- Lead and manage IT operations, ensuring seamless service delivery across all company locations while overseeing the MSP to meet SLAs and business requirements.
- Develop and implement an IT strategy that aligns with the firm's business goals, enabling scalable growth and enhancing technological capabilities.
- Oversee vendor management, particularly with the Managed Service Provider (MSP), ensuring optimal performance, contract adherence, and cost-effective solutions.
- Ensure robust cybersecurity measures, risk management, and regulatory compliance across all IT systems, in collaboration with the MSP.
- Manage IT projects and initiatives, including infrastructure upgrades, office expansions, and technology integrations, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
- Monitor the performance of IT infrastructure and services, ensuring uptime, efficiency, and security while managing the IT budget to optimize resources and reduce costs.
COMPETENCIES
- Proven experience in managing IT operations and vendor relationships, particularly with Managed Service Providers (MSP), ensuring service delivery and SLA adherence.
- Expertise in IT strategy development, aligning technology roadmaps with business objectives and ensuring smooth, cost-effective operations across multiple locations.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity, data protection regulations, and risk management practices, with the ability to oversee the implementation of proactive security measures.
- Ability to lead IT projects involving infrastructure, cloud solutions, and cross-departmental technology integration, using project management methodologies to ensure successful execution.
-Demonstrated skills in budgeting, cost control, and optimizing IT spend while ensuring that investments align with business growth and strategic goals.
- Experience in IT governance and policy development, ensuring that IT systems, tools, and assets are used efficiently and securely across the organization.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage teams, communicate complex technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders, and foster cross-functional collaboration.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in IT management, with a focus on infrastructure and operations across multi-location environments.
Proven track record of managing relationships with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and overseeing IT service delivery.
Experience with cybersecurity, regulatory compliance, and risk management in IT systems.
Hands-on experience managing IT budgets, vendor contracts, and aligning IT strategies with business objectives.
