TOP MUST HAVES: • BA/BS degree required. • 5-7 years of IT experience required. • 3-5 years of experience managing a team of direct reports • Experience in managing portfolio of projects across multiple business customers and delivery resources • Deep experience with and understanding of Salesforce and/or capabilities built upon Salesforce Platform (ex. Position Title: IT Manager
Location: Richmond, VA
Position Status: 6 - month contract to hire or direct hire
Schedule: HYBRID (WFH up to 2 days per week)
Pay Rate: Conversion Salary: $120k based off experience
Overview: Our client is looking for an IT Manager for a HYBRID position based out of Richmond, VA.
Responsibilities:
Overseeing all technology operations and evaluating them according to established goals. • Manage the technology operations and what each platform accomplishes for the Firm • Complete Technology stack analysis to audit how the Firm is using the software and if it's ROI is in line with the goals of Firm Leadership. • Work with vendors to manage operations (e.g. network security) and evaluate them according to established goals • Continue the build out of Salesforce CRM and evolve the platform with the business needs of the Firm • Oversee the technology integrations with Salesforce • Evaluate and recommend AI integrations to streamline and enhance Firm performance
Devising and establishing IT policies, controls, and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by Firm Leadership. • Manage software documentation and SOPs • Build out and implement training programs for platform training and education (e.g. cyber threats) • Develop a plan and timelines for software implementations • Establish and test controls to ensure systems are operating appropriately • Coordinate with company leadership to ensure that strategic initiatives are aligned as necessary
Analyze the business requirements of all departments to determine their technology needs. • Monitor the use of technological equipment and software on an ongoing basis to ensure functionality and efficiency • Identify equipment and software that are not needed or used • Purchase efficient and cost-effective technological equipment and software • Identify the need for upgrades, configurations or new systems and report findings to Firm Leadership or key stakeholders
Managing vendor relationships and resources to execute technology rollouts and updates in the most cost-efficient manner. • Coordinate with Vendors for software and cost analysis • Control budget and report on expenditure, develop forecasts as needed • Assist in building relationships with vendors and creating cost-efficient contracts • Assess project scope and find areas where we cut down cost and/or bring work in house
Maintaining a strong understanding of industry best practices and platform training to continue to enhance knowledge on the platforms used by the Firm • Stay up to date on platform release notes and lessons learned to enhance knowledge of platforms used by the Firm • Develop strong mentor relationships to grow expertise on how to better IT at the Firm • Identify topic areas where additional IT training is needed to ensure the training program is robust and responsive to the Firm's needs (e.g. Security) • Design and implement firm-wide annual IT training program to ensure all employees are aware of IT policies and procedures • Continue to identify additional areas of IT training (i.e. security) to mitigate risk to the firm
