Job Description
The Mint Julep Boutique is looking for an Email and SMS Marketing Manager. The focus of this position includes planning and executing email and SMS marketing. This position is for someone who possesses a great understanding of customer segmentation, deliverability, and how to gain sales results through the utilization of their expertise in email and SMS Marketing.
As the Email and SMS Marketing Manager, you will develop original content and suggest creative ways to attract more customers and promote our brand through email and SMS Marketing. Ultimately, you should be able to increase web traffic and customer engagement metrics for our brand, aligned with broader marketing strategies.
Email and SMS Marketing Manager responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Strategize and create engaging text, image, and video content to be used through email and SMS
Research audience preferences and discover current trends
Design email and SMS campaigns to sustain subscribers' curiosity and create buzz around new products
Measure web traffic and conversions
Stay up-to-date with changes in all platforms, ensuring maximum effectiveness
Research and implement strategic audience targeting that will get customers the most exposure and conversions
Suggest new ways to attract prospective customers, like promotions and competitions
Collaborate with the COO and marketing teammates to maintain a consistent brand voice and message across all paid programs
Monitor market intelligence and keep track of competitor movement and market situations
Continuous monitoring of results and improving emails and SMS
Manage various email and SMS campaigns, including the template designs, calls-to-action, and content used in our email and SMS sends
Measure results and optimize the lead nurturing workflows to convert leads into customers
Work to minimize list decay and unsubscribes while increasing the productivity of our email and SMS sends
Develop documentation and road maps for processes, A/B tests, and promotions that succeed through email and SMS
Evaluate metrics within GA4 (formerly Google Analytics) or other web analytics platforms
Create and present high-quality documents and presentations to senior leadership
Participate in strategic initiatives, contributing to long-term vision and planning
Maintain the promotions calendar and its execution
Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in marketing, advertising, or business preferred
2+ years experience

You have a growth mindset and are focused on achieving the end result for existing and potential customers
You do not need to be micromanaged; you work well by yourself and with a small team
You must have a proven track record of successful email & SMS Marketing campaigns

In-depth knowledge of audience targeting
Familiarity with online marketing strategies and marketing channels
