Center of Observational and Real-World Evidence (CORE), Real-world Data Analytics and Innovation team is seeking programmers and analysts to be leveraged for 2024 projects. We are looking for experienced individuals with expertise in R (especially in building an R library) and SQL. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing an R library/package, documenting code and programming requirements, and should have a strong understanding of statistical methods, version control, and working with EHR claims and medical EHR data in the pharmaceutical industry.
Responsibilities:
Lead the development of an R analytic library/package to enhance the daily analysis work on real-world data and conduct feasibility analyses
Test usability and user access to the developed R analytic library/package across multiple EHR and claims databases
Create use cases and examples for use with the R analytic library/package
Draft a shiny dashboard template to be used as outputs for each feasibility analysis completed using the R analytic library/package
Gather, analyze, and prioritize stakeholder inputs from across geographies and functional areas to identify package needs
Document programming and code specifics, support the generation of related reports, and ensure proper version control during the development of the package
Experience and skills:
Experience in developing and maintaining an R analytic library/package
Proficient in R, SQL, Git (proficiency in SAS and Python is a plus)
Experience in working with database (Redshift, MySQL, etc.)
Experience in working with real-world data (EHR and/or Claims)
Experience in CI/CD pipeline (using Docker, Jenkins, etc.) is a plus
Candidate must be self-directed, proactive, and resourceful. Must be capable of working with limited daily direction. RWD and/or Observational data experience mandatory
