At LEGO Construction Co, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional results and fostering a collaborative, innovative work environment. As we continue to expand, we're seeking a dynamic Senior Superintendent to join our Orlando business unit and lead a pivotal K-12 renovation project.
Position Overview:
The Senior Superintendent will oversee all field operations for our construction projects, ensuring that every aspect of the work is executed with precision and excellence. This role involves coordinating subcontractor activities, enforcing quality control and safety measures, and maintaining strong relationships with all project stakeholders. You will be a key player in managing project budgets and schedules while mentoring other field personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and coordinate all field operations, including the supervision of subcontractor work.
Enforce quality control standards and ensure safety protocols are followed.
Maintain project schedules and budgets, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion.
Participate in OAC (Owner-Architect-Contractor) meetings, fostering positive relationships with owners, architects, inspectors, trade partners, and team members.
Mentor and manage superintendents and field personnel to enhance team performance.
Minimum Requirements:
15+ years of construction field experience.
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
5+ years of direct supervisory experience with a focus on subcontractor management.
Proficiency in Procore or similar construction management software.
Ability to interpret and enforce subcontractor contracts and project plans/specs.
Proficient with PC and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Experience with project scheduling software, such as Primavera P6.
Preferred Experience:
Experience managing K-12 education projects as a superintendent.
Additional Skills:
Excellent organizational and verbal communication skills.
Strong project scheduling, cost management, and budgeting abilities.
Effective verbal and written communication.
Expertise in project administration, operations, and close-out.
