Opportunity for an experienced Division Order Analyst within the North Dallas area. This position will work from the Corporate Office, located within walking distance to the Dallas Galleria, and with plenty of dining, shopping, and entertainment options close.
This Independent Oil and Gas E&P and Pipeline Operating company is over 30 years old and requires a Division Order Analyst that desires to be part of a company and culture that values employees.
The primary responsibilities of this position include creating and maintaining ownership decks, processing ownership transfers, and handling owner inquiries.
RESPONSIBILITIES: • Detailed analysis of Title Opinions, Leases, Joint Operating Agreements and other land contracts to determine record title and contractual ownership for calculation of interest and distribution of revenues; identify curative necessary to resolve ownership issues. • Accurately create and maintain revenue and joint interest billing decks in Integra. • Responsible for handling Owner Relations calls and emails. Communicate with royalty and working interest owners regarding ownership. • Review Legal Suspense monthly; Work with land owners to obtain documentation to release legal suspense or thoroughly document reason for suspense. • Review Outstanding AP and Revenue Check Report monthly and work with Accounting to void checks as needed. Take action to release, transfer or suspend resulting revenue from voided check. • Responsible for reviewing worksheet for monthly rental payments, requesting the checks from Accounting and mailing by certified mail. • Create and maintain Land files in hard copy and digital format. • Perform internet searches as needed for research. • Generate reports and queries.
REQUIREMENTS: • Bachelor's Degree preferred. • Previous Oil & Gas Division Order experience. • Texas and Louisiana Division Order experience is a plus. • Knowledge of record title, estate and distribution laws, and state statutory payment requirements. • Integra or other land management software experience. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. • Strong oral and written communication skills.
