The Director, Product Management is responsible for overseeing the development of consumer facing web-based products. The Director, Product Management ensures that the consumer experiences built better assist consumers' understanding and improves the home buying experience. The internal web application that this position builds serves to assist the team to become more efficient, enabling the closing of loans as well as improving the post-loan experience.
Job Responsibilities:
Act as the point of contact for team members on all product projects including assembling, coordinating, and managing multidisciplinary project needs.
Facilitate and troubleshoot any challenges associated with developing complex systems.
Provide technical and management advice while assisting department management and personnel associated with each project.
Maintain project documentation; provide efficient and accurate information for project inquires.
Lead project meetings, presentations, and post-policy implementations.
Work collaboratively with internal and external partners.
Lead the development of project goals and establish the scope of projects.
Ensure completion and success of customer support across multiple projects.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in relevant field and/or equivalent combination of education/experience.
A minimum of 7 years' experience in leading large departmental or mid-size corporate projects.
PMP certification, preferred.
Mortgage industry experience, preferred.
Encompass experience, preferred.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Knowledge of potential courses of action based on needs and available resources.
Excellent management, analytical, and detail-oriented skills.
Excellent prioritization and time management skills.
Excellent conflict management and negotiation skills.
