Growing Manufacturing company recruiting for an Equipment Engineer who will develop preventative maintenance requirements and intervals for their machinery.
Responsibilities: • Oversee maintenance and modification of computerized process control systems and maintenance management systems. • Prepare a variety of technical facilities reports and analyses for presentation to management team. • Determine feasibility and/or design of new plant equipment or modifying existing facilities, considering costs, available space, time limits, company planning, and other technical and economic factors. • Partner with EHS, Maintenance, Operations and Engineering to support multi-disciplinary demands of the Manufacturing processes and operations. • Work with project management on new capital expenditures by preparing SOW (Statement of Work), contact suppliers for RFQ, evaluate and recommend suppliers. • Utilize Lean, Six-Sigma, or equivalent problem-solving skills.
Job Requirements:
Education & Experience: • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Discipline, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering preferred and 5+ years of experience • Minimum of 5 years prior experience in specifying, procuring, and commissioning of industrial manufacturing machinery and equipment.
Functional/Technical Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: • Hands-on approach to solving equipment & systems problems. • Demonstrate expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. • Ability to interpret technical specifications as well as mechanical drawings and electrical schematics. • Solid understanding of high temperature kiln furnaces including resistance and inductive. • Advanced equipment maintenance experience in electrical/electronic controls, software, and mechanical areas with a PLC background is preferred. • Experience with high-powered testing equipment, high temperature processes, vacuum pumps, gas control systems, machining equipment, laser equipment, and HVAC preferred.
