CSP is partnering with a reputable full service site development and heavy highway construction company serving the Northeastern United States. We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager due to growth.
Responsibilities:
Assist and support Superintendent and Project Manager on assigned projects
Primary engineer and contract administrator on various sized projects
Maintain communication with Superintendent and Project Manager to ensure proper coordination of project
Communicate and enforce the Health and Safety Plan
Assist in the initial set up of project, take offs and cost control budgets
Assist with the Change Management systems and project permit process
Generate, receive, manage, and monitor submittals
Initiate, prepare, review, track and distribute RFI's - perform updates to construction schedule
Manage project cost control systems, craft labor time, equipment time and quantity reporting
Prepare and submit Daily Diary Reports including Project Progress Photos
Tracking inventory of materials monitor costs
Coordinate site testing and quality Inspections with Owners representatives
Participate in the management of Erosion and Sediment Control
Attend and participate in project meetings, including sub-contractor meetings
Maintain good relationships with all stakeholders, including representatives of Owner and Architect/Engineer
Assist in the supervision of the daily construction efforts for self-perform and subcontracted work
Qualifications & Experience:
BS in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
Must have prior Heavy/Highway or Site Development experience
Knowledge, skills and experience with Maryland construction methods, technique and standards
Self-starter, excellent time management and organization skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills to function as part of a team
Familiarity with requirements of drawings and specifications and with the terms and conditions of project Contracts, Subcontracts and Purchase Orders
Practical Computer knowledge. HCSS HeavyJob, and Scheduling experience preferred
