Provide Leadership and clear, positive direction for a team of nine (9) Executive Assistant (EA) staff across four locations all directly supporting Senior Government Leaders.
Ensure delivery of contract requirements using experience and proactive problem solving.
Support the client as an Senior Executive Assistant when needed and be able to temporarily backfill any role on the team.
Ensuring seamless team-focused operations by the EAs to support the client's Mission.
Lead and Manage proactively identifying potential process improvements to improve support of the client's Mission.
Drive the EA's #1 mission to make the Government Leadership successful.
Drive proactive problem solving and planning that includes the standard practice of creating backup plans and redundancy to avoid a single point of failure.
Drive the standard practice of responding immediately and with a sense of urgency to any request from the client or suggested change from the client.
Maintain office staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
Ensure EAs follow standard operating procedures (SOPs). Period review of SOPs to ensure best practices are applied to ensure continuous improvement.
Approve work schedules and coverage requirements for the team at all four locations.
Responsible for the creation, quality assurance review, and submission of monthly reports to the client.
Work with Division Vice President to set budget for the project to ensure financial success.
Must be able to work onsite each working weekday
Skills/Experience/Certifications:
Bachelor's degree
Must be a US Citizen
Must possess a DOD Secret Security clearance
Minimum of Five (5) years' relevant experience
Minimum of Five (5) years' leadership experience with progressively larger responsibilities
Expert level experience with Microsoft Office products and Office Automation
Prior experience with DoD (Department of Defense) or equivalent is strongly preferred
Experience in executive level administrative support or supporting senior management officials at the flag/General Officer/Senior Executive/GS-15 or O-6 level
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred but not required at start.
