Job Description:

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

The Sr. Financial Analyst is responsible for providing insights and support to the Finance team and the business via multiple reporting applications. Our teams are highly interdependent and require an individual who will thrive in working cross-functionally across an entire organization. This role owns our business-facing reporting through combining input from various departments including the finance and accounting teams into our final deliverable. The Sr. Financial Analyst must be detail oriented, able to handle shifting priorities and be a self-starter who can take ownership of

tasks and projects, from start to finish.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

General Reporting:
• Supports the FP&A monthly review roll up and management summary
• Support Month Close activity (i.e., prepare journal entries, explain P&L impacts, etc.)
• Monthly review of company's marketing and operating expenses
• Become a key partner with IT in Microsoft Power BI
• Assist in the generation, review and publishing of monthly performance reports for senior management

Quarterly Budget Process:
• Become a key player Quarterly Budget process from detailed department planning to overall roll up
• Work with the Director of Corporate Finance to develop and consolidate the annual budget, subsequent plan updates and gap management activities
• Assist in the preparation of the quarterly balance sheet and cash flow forecast
• Work with business partners to communicate timelines and collect forecast inputs related to marketing, facility, employee and corporate costs
• Assist in the preparation of presentation materials for executive level budget review and approval

Other Responsibilities:
• Partnering with various departments including sales, marketing, R&D, legal and Finance/IT for regular monitoring and analysis of results vs budget
• Identify and initiate process improvements with data management, forecasting, and reporting
• Attend departmental/cross-functional meetings
• Ad-hoc projects, analysis and financial modeling

KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES:
• Knowledge and experience with financial reporting and internal control related responsibilities
• Excellent organizational skills and great attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously; follow through and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and cross functional collaboration skills

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
• BS/BA degree, required
• Minimum 4 years of progressive professional experience in Corporate Finance, Corporate Accounting, Consulting
• Advanced Microsoft Excel (pivots, macros, ad-ins, data models), required
• Experience with Data visualization (Power BI preferred)
• Knowledge or experience with ERP systems (ex: D365)

** Work is performed in a fast-paced office environment and may be stressful at times. Work may require sitting for long periods of time; requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, calculator, telephone, copier and fax machine and scanner.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

short-term incentive.

We provide the base salary range, exclusive of benefits or additional incentives (highlighted here). Additionally, this position is eligible for a 10% annual short-term incentive. If you are hired at Simply Goods Foods, your final base salary compensation will be determined based upon such factors as: geographic locations, skills, training, education and/or experience. Please keep in

mind that hiring at the compensation range maximum would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth.

HQ (Office-Based):

CO salary range is: $88,000 -$100,000
