Job Description:

Summary

The Business Insights Senior Analyst will leverage data-driven approaches to deliver key business insights and recommendations. This role involves the use of advanced analytical techniques to identify opportunities for growth, efficiency, and profitability. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, deep experience with data visualization tools, and the ability to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders at all levels.

Data Analysis & Interpretation:
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate key metrics and insights.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis to answer specific business questions.

Strategic Insights:
• Provide actionable insights to support strategic initiatives and decision-making.
• Identify opportunities for operational improvements and growth.
• Work with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and deliver tailored insights.

Reporting & Visualization:
• Create and present detailed reports to senior management, highlighting key findings.
• Utilize data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to effectively communicate complex data in a simple, repeatable, and understandable manner.

Project Management:
• Lead or participate in data-driven projects, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of insights.
• Collaborate with IT and analytics teams to ensure data quality and accessibility.

Market & Competitor Analysis:
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform business strategy decisions.
• Monitor director competitor trends and provide detailed insights based on data analysis.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
• Required: Bachelor's degree in business, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
• 4+ years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, or a similar role.
• Strong experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

• Language skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints. Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, public group, and/or boards of directors.
• Mathematical skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts.
• Reasoning: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of information.
• Computer skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
