The Chief Technology Officer ("CTO") will oversee technology for the organization. The CTO will partner with C-Suite executives to define the technology strategy for the organization. The CTO will streamline the deployment of critical systems that will transform and optimize operations as well as the client experience. The ideal candidate will design and implement new systems, and work alongside the Operations team to ensure a smooth transition and anticipate any potential roadblocks. This individual will be a visionary leader responsible for the strategic direction, execution, and alignment of our technology initiatives with business objectives. The CTO will oversee the development, enhancement, and optimization of our technology stack and lead a talented team of developers & engineers.
OBJECTIVES
Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable digital solutions, including mobile apps, web platforms, and cloud infrastructure, both consumer and internal facing
Oversee all software development lifecycle stages, ensuring delivery of high-quality products.
Ensure system architecture is secure, flexible, and capable of rapid evolution to meet market demands.
Lead the development, deployment, training, and maintenance of a robust infrastructure including financial systems, operational systems, EHR and CRM as well as leading the development of a centralized data infrastructure for all data within the organization.
Ensure systems integrations are optimized
Lead the development of the Company's AI strategy
Play an active role in the realization of our talent strategy by attracting, recruiting, mentoring and developing top technology & engineering talent.
Ensure robust and secure technology infrastructure to support the business and protect against potential cybersecurity threats.
Implement and maintain security protocols, risk management, and disaster recovery processes.
Oversee compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices in data protection and privacy.
Develop and manage the technology budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to support current and future technology needs.
Collaborate closely with other executives to define and prioritize strategic business objectives.
Support business development efforts by participating in client meetings, representing the company's technology vision, and helping to secure key partnerships.
Serve as the primary spokesperson for the technology function to internal and external stakeholders.
Stay abreast of the latest healthcare related and general technological advances in the market, determining applicability and value to the business

Demonstrated capability of building a technology team that comprises developers, designers, and infrastructure-focused roles
Expert level solution architecture skills with wide-ranging experience; able to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways
Demonstrated ability to oversee data centralization, standardization, and integration initiatives
Demonstrated ability to lead the development and/or implementation of consumer facing applications
Knowledge of cyber security best practices and protocols
Demonstrated recent hands-on experience in the design, engineering, and successful implementation of enterprise-grade software products.
Ability to effectively articulate ideas and initiatives to non-technical stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to cultivate relationships with external technology service providers and business partners
Highly collaborative working across varying internal and external stakeholders
Ability to excel in a fast paced deadline oriented environment

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
10+ years of active architecture, design, engineering, and implementation experience in a complex enterprise cloud environment.
10+ years of experience leading technical teams
Prior experience in a public cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP) that involves the development, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise software
Preferably past experience in a HIPAA-regulated environment
Prior experience working with genetic and/or blood data is a plus
Prior experience working with EHR, CRM, GL, lab data, and integrating with 3rd party providers
