AllSTEM Connections is seeking a Laboratory Systems Manager to work hybrid/onsite in Holly Springs, NC.
This is a six-month contract position. Possible extension/temp-to-hire.
Hourly rate is up to $71.50
M-F, 8AM - 5PM.
SUMMARY:
The successful candidate will leverage a strong technical Laboratory IS/IT knowledge to oversee deployment and support of Laboratory systems (LIMS/Reagent Manager/Smart Lab). The candidate must have at least 10 years of functional experience and be capable of leading Laboratory IS/IT projects. The successful candidate will have experience with managing Laboratory IS/IT change controls within an eQMS.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support deployment and support of Laboratory systems (LIMS/Reagent Manager/Smart Lab).
Leading Laboratory IS/IT projects.
Managing Laboratory IS/IT change controls within an eQMS.
Provide validation and change management support for Laboratory systems deployment.
Manage system administration activities for Laboratory systems deployment.
Provide technical guidance on Laboratory IS/IT requirements.
Provide incident management support as required.
Support Laboratory application performance monitoring and label printing issues.
Identify technical/operational gaps and propose solutions.
Develops, writes, edits, and formats materials such as Standard Operating Procedures, Business Practices, forms, checklists, technical manuals, installation guides, user manuals, and related technical and business process documentation.
When creating, updating and enhancing the documentation, adhere to format, content and style guidelines, giving consideration to usability and ensuring accuracy, consistency and quality.
Additionally, this position will be required to administer the processing of documents via the established Document Processing Review process.
May require communication through a variety of media (e.g., CD, intranet, on-line training, etc.);
QUALIFICATIONS:
Doctorate Degree OR Master Degree and 3 years of Laboratory IS/IT experience OR Bachelor Degree and 5 years of Laboratory IS/IT experience OR Associate degree and 10 years of Laboratory IS/IT experience OR High school diploma/GED and 12 years of Laboratory IS/IT experience

Previous technical writing experience
Regulated environment experience
Document version control experience
Excellent communication/writing skills
Strong technical Laboratory IS/IT knowledge required to support deployment and support of Laboratory systems (LIMS/Reagent Manager/Smart Lab).
10 or more years' functional experience leading Laboratory IS/IT projects.
Experience with managing Laboratory IS/IT change controls within an eQMS.
