Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Financial Operations Analyst for a Contract to Hire position in Downtown Baltimore.
Key responsibilities include:
- Responsible for managing global cash transactions, focusing on secure, compliant money movements
- Oversee and execute client cash processing, including Fed wires, ACH, checks, and client collateral loans
- Enforce fraud prevention measures and ensure adherence to AML/KYC regulations
- Collaborate with internal teams (Operations, Compliance, IT) to improve cash management processes
- Ideal candidate has 2-3 years of experience in finance, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently
This is a long term contract opportunity, on-site five days/week in Baltimore,
Qualifications:- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics or related field preferred
-Experience (Internship or otherwise) in Financial Services, Private Equity, Venture Capital or Alternative Assets helpful
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel helpful
- Demonstrated analytical, evaluative, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure with multiple priorities.
- Effective in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong decision-making, organizational, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
