Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Power BI Engineer with strong expertise in reconciliation products, specifically FIS Intellimatch and Data Integrity solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining reporting solutions that enhance data analysis and business intelligence capabilities. This role requires a blend of technical acumen and business understanding to ensure accurate data reconciliation and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Power BI Development:
Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that meet business requirements.
Create data models, transformations, and visualizations to facilitate effective data analysis.
Reconciliation Expertise:
Utilize FIS Intellimatch to implement reconciliation processes that ensure data integrity across various financial platforms.
Analyze and rectify discrepancies in financial data, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with industry standards.
Data Integrity:
Collaborate with data governance teams to establish best practices for data quality and integrity.
Conduct regular audits and assessments of data processes to identify and address issues.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and IT, to understand reporting needs and deliver actionable insights.
Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment on data-related decisions.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in business intelligence and reconciliation processes.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
Experience:
8+ years of experience in Power BI development and data visualization.
Strong experience with FIS Intellimatch or similar reconciliation products.
Proven expertise in data integrity and reconciliation processes within the financial services industry.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in Power BI, DAX, and Power Query.
Experience with SQL and data modeling concepts.
Familiarity with ETL processes and tools.
