We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our IT Security Team as a Privacy and Data Protection Analyst! The Privacy & Data Protection Analyst is responsible for performing reviews, assessments and audits, reporting, and facilitating communications to internal and external stakeholders as necessary regarding Atlas World Group's compliance to regulatory, legislative, and contractual requirements regarding data privacy and protection. The position will monitor, coordinate, and implement policies, standards, procedures, controls, and guidelines to support security, compliance, and audit requirements and ensure adherence to regulations. This position supports the privacy and compliance team as part of the overall Security Program and a network of vendors who will encompass the resources needed to execute the vision developed by the Chief Security Officer position.
Key Responsibilities:
Improve existing privacy and compliance programs and processes.
Develop, review, and modify information security and privacy policies.
Design, execute, and monitor audit procedures to assess and measure company compliance with its privacy and compliance initiatives.
Audit IT processes and procedures to ensure compliance with security and data privacy standards including applications and systems.
Monitor advancements in information privacy laws to ensure organizational adaptation and compliance.
Manage compliance testing and monitoring of current and future regulatory obligations.
Conduct internal risk assessments and compliance audits.
Ensure adherence to regulations, data privacy and its protection for items such as General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), the NIST Framework, CMMC, and other federal and international laws and regulations related to data privacy and protection.
Perform third-party risk assessments as part of the Vendor Management Program and support the tool for performing such assessments. Provide reporting on organization risk.
Comply with our customer specific requirements relating to data security and protection including answering and coordinating their risk assessments related to the security and data protection of customer information. Support and manage the tool in support of these requirements.
Collect, analyze, and prepare reports required for regulators and other relevant stakeholders.
Understand, develop, and deliver meaningful reports on the Privacy Program state and adherence to frameworks and standards.
Work with business leaders to ensure privacy risk findings are reviewed and solutions are implemented.
Provide training and awareness regarding the privacy and compliance programs.
Support the contract management processes including tool management, review of contracts relating to security and privacy requirements.
Provide data privacy and protection oversight and support to Atlas World Group, Inc. and its subsidiaries.

What You'll Need:
Bachelor's Degree in Technology or a related field.
3+ years of related experience in Information Security, Privacy and Compliance, or Associate's Degree in Technology or a related field and 5+ years of related experience in Information Security, Privacy and Compliance.
Proven track record in developing and managing Information Security, Privacy and Compliance programs for an organization.
Ability to research and stay up to date with privacy and compliance trends, as well as changing government and state laws.
