The Role
As our Vice President of Information Technology, you'll lead strategic IT initiatives spanning Custom Development, Applications, and IT/Security while reporting directly to the CEO. This role offers an opportunity to drive technological innovation and shape the future of logistics technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive strategic IT planning and execution across the organization
- Lead software development initiatives and enhance communication technologies
- Manage a comprehensive technology portfolio including cloud services, EDI, and business systems
- Oversee data warehouse design and analytics capabilities
- Direct security architecture and compliance initiatives
- Build and lead high-performing IT teams
- Manage key technology partnerships and vendor relationships
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of IT experience with 5+ years in senior IT management
- Proven track record of leading IT transformation initiatives
- Strong experience with Azure cloud services
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field
- Demonstrated success in building and leading technical teams
- Experience with business systems and EDI
- Outstanding communication and leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Transportation/Logistics/Supply Chain technology
- Knowledge of logistics-specific platforms (TMS, WMS)
- Track record of successful vendor management
- Experience with data warehouse implementation and management
