We are seeking a dedicated Product Owner to join our Wealth Management team. The ideal candidate will have a background in wealth management, experience managing small teams, and strong skills in bridging business and technical teams to translate strategy into actionable stories. This role will partner closely with our tech team to enhance product development and maintain effective story management.
Responsibilities:
Team Collaboration: Oversee and coordinate two teams; actively engage with the tech team to align on project goals and deliverables.
Story Development & Grooming: Write, refine, and groom high-quality user stories, ensuring alignment with the strategic direction and business objectives.
Scrum Team Partnership: Collaborate with the scrum team to build and maintain dashboards tracking story progress, backlog status, completion rates, and key metrics.
Backlog Management: Own and prioritize the product backlog; ensure stories are tagged correctly in Jira for seamless tracking and reporting.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business teams to understand objectives, converting them into actionable and well-structured stories.
Metrics & Reporting: Develop and maintain dashboards that provide insights into backlog status, sprint progress, and overall team performance.
Requirements:
10+ years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role within Wealth Management.
Proficiency in Jira for story management and backlog tracking.
Strong understanding of agile methodologies and hands-on experience working with scrum teams.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen ability to translate strategic objectives into clear, detailed stories.
Experience in developing and maintaining tracking dashboards, ensuring story tags and metrics are up-to-date and accurately reported.
