We are seeking a skilled Scheduler with expertise in Primavera P6 and Excel to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of project management principles, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a proven track record of successfully learning and utilizing new software programs. This role is essential for ensuring effective project planning and execution, contributing to the successful delivery of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6, ensuring timely updates and accuracy.
Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to define project scopes, objectives, and timelines.
Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing potential issues proactively.
Utilize Microsoft Office and Microsoft Projects to support project planning and reporting activities.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of project plans, policies, procedures, and working instructions.
Assist in the development of project budgets and resource allocation.
Provide training and support to team members on Primavera P6 and other project management tools.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in project planning or management; or 7 years of progressive experience in lieu of a degree.
Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Excel is required.
Strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
Proven ability to learn new software programs quickly and effectively.
Knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Oracle project management tools is a plus.
