Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager who excels in navigating complex, multifaceted projects and can drive impactful outcomes. This role requires a strategic leader adept at fostering collaboration across teams, developing tailored project plans, and ensuring the highest level of delivery within set budgets and timelines. With exceptional organizational and communication skills, you'll help guide project stakeholders and team members toward achieving aligned objectives and overcoming challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and coordinate multiple projects, utilizing best-practice PMO methodology to develop and execute project plans that meet stakeholder needs and remain within scope.
Act as the business's representative, guiding project outcomes and serving as a primary liaison across teams, including Technology and End User partners.
Track project progress proactively, address emerging risks, and create solutions to preempt potential issues.
Implement effective project management practices by breaking down complex tasks, documenting processes, and ensuring smooth workflow and task control.
Prepare and deliver concise reports on project milestones, time management, and key status updates, while managing escalations as necessary.
Build and maintain robust relationships across the project lifecycle, fostering trust and open communication between stakeholders, team members, and project sponsors.
Apply lessons from past projects, continuously improving strategies for handling both new challenges and familiar scenarios.
Ensure compliance by assessing risks, aligning project goals with company policies, and upholding a commitment to transparency in all decisions.
Qualifications:
5-8 years of project management experience, ideally within financial services or a similarly fast-paced environment.
PMP certification is strongly preferred; Six Sigma certification is a plus.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Proven track record in developing project plans, setting and tracking goals, and managing both deadlines and budgets.
Advanced knowledge of project metrics, root cause analysis, and proactive risk assessment.
Strong client relationship management skills, with the ability to foresee and navigate both operational and tactical risks.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel), MS Project, and Visio; Adobe Acrobat Professional experience is an added advantage.
Active engagement in industry trends, with a passion for continuous learning through networking, professional associations, and relevant seminars.
