Salary: $125,000 - 130,000 (DOE) plus $30,000 bonus
Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to lead procurement operations, streamline supplier relationships, and drive cost savings. You will manage a team of 12 buyers in Chatsworth and 1 buyer in Mexico. You will report to the CEO. You will focus on implementing supplier agreements and ensuring optimal supply chain performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Led a team of buyers to meet operational performance goals.
Establish long-term agreements with suppliers to reduce costs and optimize inventory.
Manage supplier schedules, procurement data accuracy, and budgetary controls.
Resolve supplier performance issues and conduct regular business reviews.
Drive continuous improvements in procurement processes and team development.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
10+ years in procurement management, preferably in aerospace.
Expertise in supplier negotiation, cost control, and budgeting.
Proven leadership in managing teams and international suppliers.
Travel up to 25% (domestic and international).
APICS CPIM certification preferred.
