THE MISSION
In the race to combat climate change, time is of the essence. The Office of Clean Energy Demonstrations (OCED) is investing billions of dollars in projects that will play an essential role in achieving the world's net-zero goals, deploying next-generation energy technologies across America. OCED's mission is to deliver clean energy demonstration projects at scale in partnership with the private sector to accelerate market adoption, deployment, and the equitable transition to a decarbonized energy system.

THE ROLE
The Office of Clean Energy Demonstrations (OCED) is seeking to fill multiple positions at both the Project Officer and Project Manager levels to support the Regional Clean Hydrogen Hubs, one of OCED's largest project portfolio, to create a network of clean hydrogen producers, consumers, and related infrastructure to accelerate the use of hydrogen as a viable energy source.
Both Project Officers and Project Managers will play crucial roles in driving the success of these large-scale, technologically complex clean energy projects for the Regional Clean Hydrogen Hubs. While both positions involve project oversight, Project Officers will assist in the hands-on execution and monitoring of projects, helping ensure compliance, tracking progress, and supporting on-the-ground activities. Project Managers will focus on high-level advisory responsibilities, guiding DOE and OCED leadership on project management strategies, risk mitigation, and stakeholder engagement.
This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of the energy transition, contributing to impactful projects shaping the future of clean energy in the U.S.
Candidates at both levels may be eligible for telework or remote work, with some travel required.
