What You Will Do-
Analyze blueprints, specifications, and construction documents to prepare accurate time, cost, materials, and labor estimates for bidding on projects.
Utilize RS Means and E4Clicks for precise cost estimation.
Estimate costs for materials, equipment, subcontracted work, and labor based on project requirements.
Provide preliminary and detailed itemized estimates, adjusting as necessary for project scope changes.
Review supplier and subcontractor proposals to determine pricing and cost effectiveness.
Prepare cost statements and documentation regularly, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
Act as a resource during project start-up to clarify estimates and construction methods.
Conduct site inspections to assess project conditions and risks.
Assemble comprehensive bid-files for project submissions.
Assist with procurement contracts and maintains updated supplier and subcontractor contacts.
What You Bring To The Table-
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Finance or equivalent preferred.
2-5 years of commercial construction experience required.
Knowledge of industry standards and practices.
Familiarity with Gordian- RS Means pricing & unit price estimating.
Experience in multiple software systems including Procore and Adobe and E4 Clicks.
